My wife ran her first 5k race last weekend and instead of going to the race (I was working out as well), I bought her a gift.  A few girl friends of mine referred me to this sweet shop called 10,000 villages, where they have stuff from 3rd world countries around the world.  I ended up getting her a stone necklace that she really enjoyed.  I’m realizing more and more how important gifts are to my wife, so I can love her better in that way.

Now, her birthday is coming up shortly in September.  The question is, what to get her.  She’s not very picky, which makes my life a little easier.  In the past, I have gotten her stuff like Alexandra de Markoff cosmetics or some of her other favorites, but she looks good enough as already.  I’m thinking about getting her some toys from this site, because we both love the Disney Cars Movie.  It will be a great memory for her, which is always special when I pick out gifts for her.
