I’m by no means old.  Just approaching my mid to late 20’s.  It feels good.  I feel like I have grown a lot in wisdom over the last year, not because of my age, but because of the Scriptures renewing my mind.  Being married has been a catalyst for growth as well.

My wife just had her birthday and I bought her season tickets to the zoo.  I think it was a better gift than what I got her last year – cook books.  Ha, she’s cracked them like one time.  I thought it was helpful since she wanted to do more of that, but she doesn’t have the time to cook right now.  So, I bought her a gift of time, quality time – dates for me and her at the zoo.

I’m pretty much not picky at all now.  As a kid, I would die for things like baseball cards or something from a Transformers store, but now, I’m just happier and happier.  It’s cool to see that as you grow wiser, you are more aware of your blessings.  Right now, I’m home shopping, which is just so much fun.  I had a great meeting today with a loan officer that just makes me want to praise.  Once we get into a home, I would love some aquarium supplies or cool decorations.  I want to make our home as pleasing a place as possible.  I want it to be somewhere that people want to come to.
