So, I’m in the process of buying my first home.  I’m really exciting, and my family is really helping me out.  My dad is offering me money for a down payment, which is huge.  I’m trying to figure out if I accept it as a gift or as a loan.  I learned this morning that if I accept it as a gift and then make payments to him, it is considered fraud.  Not only the money, but the experience is also very beneficial.

As if that weren’t exciting enough, my oldest brother and his family are moving to Cincinnati soon.  He is being transferred here with Delta, far sooner than expected because he just got hired.  I am sooooo excited about this.  He called me last week and said that he wants to live in the same area as my wife and I.  This is huge because just a few weeks earlier, there search was solely about land and the kind of property they wanted.  Now, his whole search is being directed by how our families can bless each other.  Praise God!  In just a little while, I will be shopping for my niece for Care Bears baby bedding, and for my nephew – Transformers toys and awesome Transformers costumes.  It’s going to be amazing to share our lives with them.
