My dishwasher broke down a few weeks ago, so I need to buy a new one.  It seems like every week, something is breaking down.  The joys of being a homeowner I guess.  It’s getting a bit frustrating and costly.

The problem is that the old dishwasher is only a 24 inch and I want to buy a full sized one, which is 30.  To do so, I need to reconstruct the whole kitchen, move the sink and get new cabinets.  So, I’ve been shopping for some wooden dowels and joinery items.  I’m not much of a handyman, so my dad is going to help me out.  I wish I could do this stuff on my own, but it’s not my skill set.  He helped me install one of these as well, which was nice.

He learned from his dad, but anytime we tried to do a project together, it didn’t go so well.  All in all, it’s good bonding time though.  I’ll be excited when we get this project done.
