When you stay in doors all day every day for weeks at a time, there is no question that you begin to develop cabin fever. Last weekend was the blizzard of 2008. We had about 14 inches of snow dump on us on Friday and Saturday, and everyone was trapped in their homes. All you could do was cuddle up with a book or play a board game. For me, it was nice as an introvert, but even I was starting to get cabin fever. I used the time to take care of a lot of to do items. First, I had to do my taxes. Blahhhh. That took me about 4 hours, because I had all kins of weird issues, being self employed, buying a house, and having rental income. Then, I looked at updating my finances. I reviewed with my wife where we were, and taught her what I do each month. We talked about investing, starting a new business, and getting new life insurance from Primerica. We’re planning on opening our own ecommerce stores within a year or so, and we’re looking forward to it. We’ll be able to sell anything online, like these guys selling biscuit joinery. We could have a brick and mortar store and use a website to show off our business, like here, but using SEO for ecommerce makes more sense. The good news about cabin fever is that it allows you to think and plant about these things a bit. But, the sun is out today. I’m getting out of the house!!!
