This is going to be my motto for a while because I love Chick-fil-a. In case you were unaware, they give away tons of free food. About two years ago, a chick-fil-a opened near my house, and I heard about their first 100 promo. For the first 100 people who camp out at their store, they give combo coupons to last a year – over $250 of free food. Ever since then, I’ve been traveling to any local opening that makes sense because a few hours of hanging out with my friends is well worth the free food.
Right now, I’m in Lexington, KY at the latest opening. Some of my best friends in the world are here, and I’m loving every bit of it. It’s a bit more polite and southern than most openings, but that comes with the geography. I have a friend who owns a Cincinnati Chick-fil-a. He’s the man, and he’s running the promo here tonight.
There are all kinds of cool people here. There are young and old families. Kids running around in the sun all day have had on the proper infant swimwear to block the sun’s rays. I’m a bit toasty myself from the sun, and could have used it. I woke up this morning, packed my national geographic bag and another sack for some snacks and made my way down. I was number 87 out of 100, so thankfully, I made it. More thankfully, I didn’t get a ticket on the way.
So, my basic plug is this, give your business to chick-fil-a. One, their chicken is amazingly tasty and two, they are just a quality business.
