My friend, whose dad owns Scallywag tag, a pirate themed laser tag in Cincinnati, just opened up a second location.  It’s been extremely stressful for them because they weren’t sure if they were going to pass all of the inspections.  Every week that the opening was delayed put a hurting on their bank account.  But now, it’s open and it’s glorious.

Their new location has much more room, so they were able to make the laser tag arena bigger, plus add a glow in the dark pirate putt putt.  They ordered all kinds of new stuff for it, and made sure they have their pirate flags waving outside.  It’s so sweet.  They still have people wanting to have a pirate birthday party, which they host quite frequently.  It’s quite a bit different from what most kids want for their parties.

So far, they seem to be doing well with business.  I hope it survives and they make a killing off of it.  They are a great family, and are going through some hard times right now.  The mother just had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor, so the dad is pulling a lot of weight.
