I woke up early this morning to get some work done, but had an unwelcome surprise last night.  Our house got TP’d.  Kind of looked like this.

So, for the first 2 hours of my day, I was cleaning up all of the mess.  I got everything I could by hand and then I used a ladder and a wood dowel to get the rest.  It was no fun.  They got it up on some of the highest trees, so I’m glad the dowel had some length to it.  The tree had a lot of dead limbs, so one of my best strategies was to just knock the branches down.

My ladder went out from under me once, and I had to jump down about 7 feet.  No damage.  But, I was near injury a few times.  By the end of the 2 hours, my pulse was up really high.  I had to go in and drink some Shizuoka to calm down.  I have no idea who may have done it.  Our roommates just got back from YL camp, so I expect it was some high school kids.

Ahh…persecution.
