Cincinnati Home Show

In case you didn’t know it, now is the perfect time to buy a house.  Interest rates are low.  Market saturation is high, and many sellers are in desperate need of cash.  If you want a good understanding of the overall home market, check out this video on epiheo.com.  It explains The Crisis of Credit.

Now, if you live in Cincinnati, then you have to attend the best Cincinnati homes show, which is Homearama.  The details are a bit different this year.  For the 48th annual Cincinnati Homearama, the show will take place in September, not June as it usually is.  This year, the show will be held in the Carmelle development in Mason, Ohio, which is on the north side of the city by Kings Island.  All of the best local home builders are at the show, and it’s a great way to showcase some of the best new homes.

Besides Homearama, one of the other great events that happens in Cincinnati every year is the Ruth Lyons Children’s Fund raffle.  In this giveaway, they sell raffle tickets for $100 for a chance to win a $450,000 home and the proceeds go to help the Ruth Lyons Children’s Fund, which is a great cause.  The drawing this year was July 18, but be sure to get in on it next year.
